North Cascades Institute

  

Conserve and restore Northwest landscapes

In partnership with the U.S. Forest Service and other local agencies, North Cascades Institute volunteer stewards educate visitors and help restore and protect local ecosystems.

Volunteer this season with the following stewardship programs:


Eagle Watchers Eagle Watchers
Educate thousands of people who venture up the Skagit River to watch bald eagles soar, roost and eat chum salmon each winter.
Mountain Stewards
Teach day hikers, backpackers and climbers how to travel safely while helping protect and restore Mount Baker’s most popular trails.
