Parks Climate Challenge – Part One: The North Cascades
Extended Edit | SHORT EDIT
The Parks Climate Challenge provides diverse urban youth a chance to connect with National Parks, learn about climate change and engage youth from around the country. For the program's inaugural year, 19 high school students from five cities spent a month in the North Cascades. The group was provided with an audio recorder and two cameras to document this experience and tell their story.
This program is a partnership between North Cascades Institute, North Cascades National Park, and the National Park Foundation, made possible by generous support from PG&E.
Photographed, recorded and produced by Benjamin Drummond and Sara Joy Steele.
