Costa Rica: Explore the biodiversity of a sister region
Take advantage of an opportunity to see Costa Rica through the eyes of a native birder, arriving at a better understanding of neotropical habitats and their importance to our own local ecology through birds we have come to know and love. On the Institutes second annual trip to the land of pura vida, well spend time in three different regions in order to get an in-depth perspective of the diversity Costa Rica contains. Accompanied by three naturalists from both Costa Rica and the Pacific Northwest, including popular Institute instructor Libby Mills, well follow an itinerary structured to take advantage of the numerous opportunities available on the trip while still allowing for individual freedom.
