Harvest Wine Dinner
Friday, October 30; 6 p.m. – Saturday, October 31, 2009
A Harvest Wine Dinner fundraiser at North Cascades Environmental Learning Center will feature rare and collectible wines and benefit environmental education experiences for young people.
Join us in the heart of the North Cascades Friday evening, October 30, for this intimate overnight event, which is limited to 35 special guests. Tickets are $525 for two people (or $650 for three people who share a room) and include a multi-course dinner, wine tastings with each course and overnight accommodations in private lodge rooms. Breakfast the following morning and guided naturalists' walks will complete the unique experience.
Selected to pair with a menu featuring a harvest bounty of Skagit Valley produce and regional organic specialties, the wines have been hand-chosen from the cellar of a longtime Skagit Valley collector. Vintages include a 1983 Chateau Palmer, 1994 Chateau de Beaucastel, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, 1995 Leonetti Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and a 1995 Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon.
Proceeds from the event will help support North Cascades Institutes environmental programs for underserved youth including Mountain School and North Cascades Wild. (You can learn more about these noteworthy programs at www.ncascades.org/youth.)
Registration and tickets at (360) 856-5700 ext. 2 or brooke_larrabee@ncascades.org
