For nearly 20 years, North Cascades Institute has taken people outside to explore the history and science behind our beautiful Northwest landscapes. Our mission of connecting people and communities to the land through education depends upon the tireless efforts of our enthusiastic instructors, committed staff and generous volunteers. With less than 20 full-time employees, North Cascades Institute relies on dedicated volunteers to make much of its work happen.
