To register, please call 360-854-2599. Online registration is not available for Family Getaways. Upon receipt of your tuition, we will send you a registration confirmation. Approximately three weeks prior to your getaway, you will receive a packet of information detailing your itinerary, what to bring, a participant roster, directions and other information. Early registration is recommended as we operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Pricing
3 days: $225 per adult and $155 per youth
Young Children
Children age 2 and younger are welcome to be added to the "family" registration at no charge. Some family outings may not be appropriate for children under the age of five. All children who attend with the "family" group must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian. Please call us with questions. "Youth" includes children 17 and under.
Cancellations
If a registration is cancelled 21 days or more before a program starts, we will refund the tuition minus an registration fee. Fees are $25 for tuition of $99 or less; $50 for $100-299; $75 for $300-799; $125 for $800 or more. Cancellations received less than 21 days before the start of a program will not receive a refund. If we are forced to cancel a program, participants will receive a full refund or transfer option.
Weather
We believe there is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing! Our programs proceed rain or shine. Appropriate rain gear, clothing and footwear are very important. A clothing list will be included in your class letter. If severe weather forces us to cancel a class, participants will receive a full refund or transfer option.
Risk and Responsibility
Family Getaways include time spent outdoors and can involve moderate trail hiking and paddling. Participants should be in good physical condition and prepared to spend for the elements. We may encounter mosquitoes, blackflies, ticks, inclement weather and other unpredictable circumstances. Protective clothing, sunscreen, rain gear and insect repellent are advised. Participants assume full responsibility for their own safety and must provide their own health and accident insurance. You will be required to sign a health/risk and hold harmless waiver before the course begins.
